Day Trip itinerary
After passing through a multitude of small rural villages rooted in the mountains of Morocco, we will arrive in the heart of the Middle Atlas, with our Ouzoud waterfalls day trip. We will visit one of the most impressive places in the country. The Ouzoud Waterfalls are located in the province of Tanaghmeilt, no more than 100 kilometers from Marrakech, in the interior of the Atlas Mountains and are more than 100 meters high.
Together with our English-speaking guide, you will have time to enjoy the different waterfalls and admire the main waterfall, considered the largest and most beautiful in North Africa. For the more daring there are also waterfalls and you can take a dip in the fresh and clean waters of Ouzoud.
You will be amazed by the fauna, flora, and geology characteristic of the area, with a multitude of ancient olive groves that add color to the Ouzoud landscape and monkeys in the treetops. If you are more intrepid, you can try the crystal-clear waters that surround this valley full of vegetation.
You can recharge your batteries by sampling the local cuisine in the small restaurants scattered along the route in Ouzoud, and if you want to take home a souvenir, there are also small artisan shops where you can buy a handmade souvenir.
Enjoy a completely different visit to Morocco and get to know the impressive valley that surrounds this waterfall, surrounded by old mills that are still active today.
If you are a nature lover and you are looking for a different adventure while your stay in Morocco, our Ouzoud waterfalls day trip will make you fall in love and will offer you great landscapes to photograph, full of the most characteristic African fauna and flora. Hassan (the best driver you'll ever meet) informed us a lot about Morocco and the sights we saw along the way.

Amazing Ouzoud waterfalls day trip
Hassan, my driver, picked me up from my hotel. I took the tour on my own. Hassan is an amazing and kind young man who made the long drive interesting and enjoyable. Hassan, thank you very much.
The waterfall is breathtaking, and there are numerous opportunities to see it. The monkeys are also a lot of fun. They are, however, so used to humans feeding them that they may steal from you. It's important to remember that they are wild creatures.
The lunch I got near the waterfall was excellent; there was enough of food, and the scenery was breathtaking!
This tour comes highly recommended!
