Short but unforgettable:

Just got back from an incredible 2 days tour from Fes with Desert Merzouga Tours! While short, it was packed with amazing experiences. Big thanks to our fantastic driver-guide, Hamid, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made the journey so enjoyable.
We crossed the Atlas Mountains, stopping at the Azrou cedar forest where we saw wild Barbary apes hanging out in the trees - pretty cool! The Ziz Valley was stunning, with its lush green palm groves contrasting with the arid landscape.
The highlight was the camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes with Desert Merzouga Tours. Riding a camel was surprisingly comfortable, and it was a surreal experience walking on the vast dunes. The desert camp was fantastic - comfortable tents, delicious Berber food, and the night sky was unbelievable! Sitting by the campfire, listening to traditional music, and gazing at the stars with Hamid was unforgettable. Waking up to see the sunrise over the dunes was magical.
If you're short on time but want a taste of the Sahara desert, this Merzouga tour 2 days with Desert Merzouga Tours is perfect. Just be prepared for a bit of a long drive - but the scenery is beautiful, so it wasn't a chore. Overall, highly recommend this trip!
