     We will start our amazing 8 day Morocco itinerary today. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the charming riad in Rabat, our driver will be ready to take you north, specifically to the majestic Rif Mountains, where the picturesque Chaouen is located. This town, often called “the Blue City”, enchants with its historic medina bathed in a characteristic shade of blue, engraving itself in the memory of those who visit it.

   During your stay in Chaouen, you will have the freedom to plan your day at your own pace, as the day will be free to explore. Among the outstanding recommendations is to visit the kasbah, which today houses the Ethnographic Museum, and enjoy the panoramic views from the viewpoints that offer a spectacular perspective of the medina and its surroundings. In addition, you will be delighted to wander through the picturesque narrow streets, adorned with flowers, lined with craft stores, and dotted with galleries of local artists, which add even more charm to this city.

    On the morning of the third day of the 8 day Morocco itinerary after enjoying a delicious breakfast at the riad in Chaouen, we head once again to our vehicle, ready to explore our first destination, Volubilis the capital of the Mauritanian kingdom, which is a vestige of Roman ruins.

    On the way to Fes, a stop will be made at Meknes, the imperial city. We will visit several attractions and places of interest in this historic city, among them: Lahdim Square, the second-largest square in Morocco. Next to it is Bab Al Mansour, one of the most magnificent gates of Morocco. You can also visit the Qara prison, which resembles a subway labyrinth in Meknes. Finally, in the late afternoon, we will continue our journey to Fes, where you will spend the third night in an authentic Riad.

   After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the charming riad in Fes, we begin our exciting 8 Day Morocco Itinerary From Casablanca to the long-awaited Sahara Desert. Along the way, we will encounter landscapes and towns of great interest, where we will have the opportunity to stop to take pictures and explore their charms up close. One of the first stops may be Ifrane, known as the ‘Moroccan Switzerland’, due to its striking buildings with gable roofs. In winter, this town is covered with snow, located in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains.

    The landscape becomes greener and more wooded in Cedar National Park, also known as the ‘Park of the Monkeys’. Crossing the Middle Atlas, we drive through the Ziz Valley until we reach Erfoud, known for its richness in fossils and marble quarries, marking the entrance to the desert. Soon, we arrive at Merzouga, where we get on the back of camels (or 4×4 vehicles). With these majestic animals, we reach the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi and witness the magical glow of sunset over the golden landscape.

   Our camel ride finally takes us to our tented camp in the heart of the desert. There, you are greeted with a Berber tea as a welcoming gesture. You will enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and spend the night inside an authentic Berber tent, all under a starry sky of unparalleled beauty.

    On this day of the unforgettable 8 days desert tour from Casablanca, waking up becomes a magical experience. Getting up early to contemplate the first light of dawn in the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi is an enchanting moment that we deeply appreciate. Then, we spend time for a refreshing shower, in our cozy camp or a hotel, according to your choice.

Our first stop is Rissani, a charming desert town that preserves a historic medina and corners trapped in time, such as its peculiar donkey parking. Continuing our journey, we reach Tinghir or Tinerhir, known for its imposing rock formations.   After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the charming riad in the Dades Valley, we head back to our vehicle to embark on a fascinating drive through miles of stunning natural scenery and the nearby Valley of Roses. Our first major stop of importance takes us to Ouarzazate, and more specifically to the magnificent kasbah of Taourirt.

    This ancient Berber fortress, which also served as the residence of the ‘Pasha’ of Marrakech, still retains elements that transport us to the grandeur and relevance of its construction in the past. Shortly after, we arrive at another renowned fortified place: the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this place has been the setting for famous films and series. It unfolds before us as an extraordinary walled village that captivates us with its breathtaking panoramic views and its modest houses and stalls that remain inside.

    After marveling at this unique gem, we continue our 8 day Morocco itinerary through the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’ Tichka pass, rising more than 2,200 meters above sea level. As we ascend and descend, we are introduced to charming local villages and breathtaking panoramic views, especially with snow-capped peaks in the coldest season of the year.
