Our 3 days from Fes to Merzouga desert start from your riad/hotel in Fez at 08 AM. Your driver will take you to Ifrane, a beautiful city in Morocco. While there, you’ll see a famous white lion statue. We will cross the cedar forest of Azrou, where we will stop to see and take pictures of the monkeys that live there.
Then we will go to Midelt to have lunch. Then we will head to the Ziz Valley where we will stop to see the palm grove and the villages in this valley.
We will cross Errachidia, Arfoud, and Rissani to reach Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). We will ride a camel for 1 hour to admire the breathtaking view of the sunset over the great dunes of Erg Chebbi.
After dinner, you will have the option to witness a traditional Berber music presentation while looking at the stars and crescent moon above the spectacular Sahara desert. Overnight in the middle of the dunes in a luxury camping tent with a bathroom and shower.

On the second day of the 3-day tour in Morocco, it is worth waking up early in the morning, to contemplate the beautiful sunrise, in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast. Then return by camel to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. We dedicate the day to exploring the region of Merzouga. The area has so many incredible sites, from dunes, fossils, wild lakes, and mine areas to fabulous oases. Which are ideal places for so many outdoor activities.
First, we started our trip in Merzouga, driving off-road to visit an ancient delineator mine. Then we visit the nomads, in their hand-woven tent. We will learn how they live while drinking Berber tea. Our next destination is the village of Khamlia, where you will enjoy the music of the Gnaoua, and dance performances. Its inhabitants are originally from sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. After that, we will take a walk in the palm grove. Then we will drive a few kilometers to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called Lake of the Flamingos. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

On the last day of your Morocco Sahara desert tours, we’ll start with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Fes. We will stop in Midelt for lunch and continue our way to the cedar forests of Azrou, where we will have the opportunity to see and photograph the monkeys that inhabit the area.
